It is definitely worthy of remark; I haven't table-top gamed since... egads, freshman year? (Commentary on the excessive number of freshman years I had will go unheeded) I think Blinky was involved.
In any event, props to
~6 hours (and less than a level) in yet, it feels like an old flame rekindled. D&D4 is a new beast and offers new challenges, though a very competent DM makes things much easier to become re-accustomed to. It is certainly very much unlike the cyberpunk or star wars RPs that dominated the end of my prior tenure.... and I can't say that's a bad thing.
